Consider becoming a member of Ohio AHEAD!!

Ohio AHEAD members have access to benefits, including:

  • Discounted Ohio AHEAD Conference rates
  • Coupons, discounts, and/or free registration to Ohio AHEAD or Ohio AHEAD sponsored webinars
  • Eligibility for membership awards (this should be linked to the awards page)
  • Access to the OH-AHEAD e-mail listserv and all its recipients (good for consulting and problem solving unique or novel situations which peers may have already experienced)
      • If you are a paying member but have not been added to the listserv (or would like to be removed from the listserv), please contact us at ohioahead@gmail.com. Listserv updates will be performed on the 1st and 15th of every month.
  • An overall connection to your friends and colleagues in the Disability Support Services professions within the state of Ohio.

Ohio AHEAD also serves as its members’ connection to the international AHEAD organization and relays trends, resources, and development opportunities from leaders and influential figures in the larger DSS field.

Institutional Membership


For 3+ professionals at the same institution
$75 for up to three (3) members within an institution
*$15 for each additional member after three (3)
Individual MembershipFor an individual professional.$35
Retiree MembershipFor a retired professional.$15
Student MembershipFor an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in at least six (6) semester hours who is interested in disability services.$15

The membership year runs from July 1st to June 30th.  Memberships can be renewed at any time, but are offered for convenience during Conference registration in October.  Note: You must be a member of Ohio AHEAD for the current calendar year to receive the discounted conference rate.

Ohio AHEAD offers a streamlined, membership application process experience! Regardless of the membership type or category, only one membership application per institution is required. Please have the person responsible for payment complete the membership application. Additionally, please be sure to have the names and email addresses of all professionals ready when completing the membership application.

Membership payments can be submitted via check, Paypal/credit card, or as part of the previous year’s conference registration. Payment details (e.g. total due, address for mailing checks) are included on the membership application itself, as well as in the confirmation email you will receive after submitting the application.
